1.2.1. From sound to meaning and reaction

One time a baby stayed in his grandpa's house, but when his mother came for him, and only by listening her voice the baby knew it was his mother and start to make noises and wanted to get out of the cradle. In other occasion the baby was with his mother but another person get closed to them, it was a strange to the baby and at the time he heard the voice, his reaction was rejection and more when the person tried to touch him.

In both cases it can be appreciate that the baby give a meaning to the voices, to the mother was a positive meaning, and to the strange a negative, is the same to the sound of dogs, and other animals or thing, the baby, get interested to touch the dog, cat etc at the moment he/she listen ... and as we said before, the baby start to making connections with sounds or words to objects.
