1. Children and the language

Sometimes it’s hard to think in language, because is in every second in our live and, that’s why it make us question how is the way that we develop the language?  The language is something that we don’t know when we start to using it, is for the society, the people who was around us, that helps us in our first steps in the learning language.

The language acquisition in children has a topic that wakes the curiosity in the linguistics, and also our curiosity. “The language is a system of signs that refers to reality, it means, to knowledge” (Harvey, 1984)

Language is universal in the species just because the capacity to learn it is innately given. (Newport, 1995) It is easy confirm theory, thought because we see examples about this in our family, friends who have sons, etc.

It is well known that from an early age we try to speak: like a baby of one year, he can try to speak even when he’s babbling it is important see it, this action is the result of some necessity, since the incentive because someone are talking with him or the baby wants to recognize something, but his capacity can’t permit it.

“Chomsky and other says that the child is born with an innate capacity for language development; that the human being is in some way pre-structured towards the development of language, so that when the child is exposed to language, certain language-structuring principles automatically commence to operate” (Crystal, David. pp. 35. 1976.) the child starts to learn the language in the moment he/she is born, but also, the child can produce phonetic sounds that don’t belong to his/her native language. With this we can see that a child brain has the biggest capability to learn the language, and even others too.
