Their interaction with the language, starts the moment he born, and is very amazing the capability they has to understand, to make differences, asked for, reject and so on, and how when they are only saying maybe one word can mean everything to them.
For example:
There was a one years old baby, who had a headache and only was crying, the parents didn't know he had that pain, and they asked him, what was wrong?, but of course the baby didn't know to speak and how to tell he had a headache. after around forty minutes to trying to calm down they decided to taking him to the doctor, and found out what was wrong.
This is one of the most difficult steps of parenting, and also to communicate with the baby. Over time, the baby will start to do noises, babble and pointing; with this the understanding will be easier.
"Adults
who gradually lose their hearing over time already understand language and have
speech. Infants and young children have not yet learned these skills" ( ASL-HA,
2014.)
